     FREE-AMERICA is an American owned company that provides a list of links to various recommended websites.  We also provide services that we feel are essential.  Financial education is important in today's society.  The education system has failed to address this.   Financial advisers have picked up on this problem and provide assistance to numerous people.  Most advisers prey on their clients week financial background.  They promote investments that benefit them.  Either through kick backs from certain investment companies or high service fees that are not based on you actual performance.  Also some advisers inform their clients that their investments are doing well based on monthly percentages the company reports.  This is deceptive.  They should tell you specifically how your investment is doing.  Anyone who watches the news or reads the paper can understand why there is a worry about saving money.  We want to ease your worries through financial education.  If you don't care to learn about finances, let us help you make good choices to maximize your profit not ours.
